Canada Summer Student Positions
8 Week Work Term / $16.40 per hour/ 40 hours per week for youth aged 15 – 30
 
Grounds Keeper Position 1 – Start Date May 18, 2026
Grounds Keeper Position 2 – Start Date June 15
Duties include maintenance, landscaping, and gardening-related jobs around the property (such as painting, staining, lawn care, composting, plant care). This is a physical position, primarily outdoors.  
 
Warehouse Worker Position 1 – Start Date May 11
Warehouse Worker Position 2 – Start Date June 29  
The Warehouse Worker will provide critical support to our overall food bank related work.  Duties will include donation receiving and sorting, grocery box packing and distribution (using POS system to build orders), manage large volume donations and portion including produce. May assist with food deliveries, food pick ups and other tasks as needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a volunteer based environment are assets.  
 
Store Clerk Position 1 – Start Date May 4
Store Clerk Position 2 – Start Date June 1
Store Clerk Position 3 – Start Date June 29
Store Clerk Position 4 – Start Date June 29
Duties include general retail (customer service, cleaning, organizing, handling cash register) and helping receive donations (sort, organize, price and display).
 
Program Assistant Position 1 – Start Date June 1
Program Assistant Position 1 – Start Date June 29
Program Assistants will support Administrative operations including programming in the Learning Kitchen, client service administration, donor recognition and tours and will help lead special events.
A flexible work schedule is required to fulfill the position’s obligations, including some evenings and weekends.
