Sharon joined the Board after having volunteered in various capacities at Greener Village- answering telephones, writing receipts, updating statistics and helping to organize the fall Open House. She has considerable experience serving on boards mostly in the cooperative and credit union systems taking on several executive positions. While her children were into sports and other recreation endeavors, Sharon became a gymnastics judge, a speedskating announcer and audience member at numerous musical theatre performances. Her work history includes District Home Economist in Dalhousie, Provincial 4-H Supervisor and finally Executive Director- Corporate Services at what is now known as Social Development.  She finished her working career with her own Management Consulting business.

In her spare time she is an avid bridge player, enjoys golf, travel and making Halloween costumes for her 5 grandchildren
